Big Face Head – My birth name is Jonas Cordell Nelson & I'm 28. I was born 3-3-85 at Saint Francis Hospital. I was raised in Hartford Connecticut my whole life. I come from Asylum Hill area. I grew up on Huntington St. I'm Black/Panamanian/Jamaican and wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I come from the bottom and my craft made it evident. I'm ambitious, self-driven and always on the come up. I'm a loving father of 1. I always wanted to rap but that was secondary, I put the streets first. That's where i perfected my hustle. Unfortunately the street life landed me in a Federal Correctional Institution serving 5 years. That was Nov 18, 2005. In jail i perfected my craft. I was released July 28, 2008 from a halfway house and its been popping ever since! Threw a mutual friend I was introduced to a A Mafia out of Harlem. We linked up & went straight to work. I recorded a numerous amount of music . Then I linked with Dj's such as Dj Scope, Dj Get It Rite, Dj Rated R and many more. I dropped My first Mixtape Grams To Grammys. Then I followed up with Dour Boy Diary. I opened up for French Montana performed with several underground artist. I worked with Fred The Godson, Ty Nitty, Dame Grease, A Mafia & a few others. A lot of my production came from Gotti Gator out of Springfield, Mass. Also a producer named Shellz out of London. August 22, 2012 my career was put on hold. I was shot down in the streets of Hartford, CT. Unfortunately I was shot twice in both legs. I was down about 6 months. I had to learn how to walk all over again. Here I am standing tall ready to release my next CD. Still untitled, looking to drop in April 2013. I'm here for a reason & blessed by god. If I wasn't I wouldn't be here to tell you my story.
