The Miami Heat released Chris Bosh on Tuesday and announced that they will officially retire his jersey number at some point in the near future. Bosh’s former Heat teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade and Heat team president Pat Riley all shared their thoughts on Bosh’s time in Miami following the team’s announcement. Bosh hasn’t played in the NBA for more than a year now due to lingering health issues.
