REL (born James Barton) to some may be just another kid attempting to pursue his passion. But upon meeting this Pittsburgh, PA native it is quickly evident he is that times a million! Armed with a dream and an immeasurable amount of hunger, he has already built a solid buzz through countless impressive live shows and a tireless online hustle. Because of this dedication and drive his buzz is burning across the US like an inextinguishable wild fire!
REL’s hustle goes far beyond music. He currently attends Bethany College, in West Virginia, on a basketball scholarship and is balancing academics as well as music. West Virginia and surrounding areas are now bullet points on the board for states that have now been exposed to and are fans of his. REL continues to build on all this through numerous street albums and the release of high quality videos.
In a less than a year, he accumulated over 90,000 views on Youtube! This caught the eye of a notable producer, which led to a REL having two singles, “Wait” and “Crazy”, released on Itunes, through an EP, “Mirror Superstar”. Which are continuing to have notable success on Itunes.
