Ruggid Real born James Long started doing music at a young age and didn't get serious until he was 16. Since that time he has done many shows over the years and been involved with several projects. You can also find music from Ruggid Real on MySpace under Ruggid Real or Attik Records. Some of Ruggid's influences are DMX, KRS ONE, REDMAN, EPMD,LL COOL J. From McKeesport PA, Ruggid grew up just like any other kid from the urban city around drugs, violence and poverty, so that's what he wrote about because that is what he knew. Ruggid's music is a reflection of real life situations and hard times combined with some feel good stories for the audiences' listening pleasure.
